That is seriously a lot of golf balls to hit. I’m still trying to break 80. Putting is giving me problems. Either that, or I’m just not hitting it close enough to the stick.
Hey John
Congratulations – As someone who has striven to surround themselves in all things golf for the last couple of years – I’m still only a 12 handicapper – Yours is a truly inspiring tale and you deserve the success you have enjoyed
As a fellow UK golf blogger I’d like to invite you to the first Golf
Bloggers Championships on May 28th 2009 in the UK. It’s basically a great
free day of golf, socialising and networking to try and get golf bloggers
together to play golf rather than write about golf for a change! And we’ve
even lined up a few generous sponsors who are going to provide us with lots of
cool freebies if we post about the day and link to them.
I do hope you are interested? The field will be limited so first come, first
served. Who knows you could become the UK’s first ever Golf Blogger
Champion! This would bring lots of PR and publicity for your golf blog.
You can see details of the day here:

To join all you have to do is;
1. Setup a free account on http://www.saveamillionshots.com (you can also add a
free link to your blog).
2. Reply to me at feedback@saveamillionshots.com saying you are definitely
in.
3. I will then add you as a participant.
I enjoyed your blog, your videos and most of all your dedication – it would be great to see you in May. keep up the good work!
Cheers
Laurence
Great stuff for everyone. Those trying to break 100, 90, 80 or whatever. Thanks
Hi,
Anyone have difficulty subscribing to the ‘break par’ subscription (http://www.breakparblueprint.com)? I’ve tried it several times with different email addresses and nothing comes through.
Maybe this site and the above is ‘dead’… I notice the posts are a few months old
cheers
David
Yeah David, I noticed the same problem. I just waited two weeks for the book to be delivered. Read it in no time and now I’m left wanting more info.
Truly inspiring tale indeed. I just want it to stop raining so I can go out and play!
Phill
Yeah, the Irish summer strikes again! Mind you, something big and orange just appeared in the sky there now so we’ll see
Hey guys
Sorry for the delay.
It will all be coming together in the next few days. Apologies for the delay.
Cheers
John
Cheers John, good on ya – look forward to it
John
Just finishing reading the book which I found throughly entertaining and inspirational.
One area that you touched on in the book but never really explored was your arthiritic hips. I am also a relitively young chap (41) with bad hip pain which is increasingly making golf difficult (as if its not hard enough).
Could you recommend any reading which might help me? you did state in the book that changing your diet had made a huge difference.
I am still reasonably fit and active but do find that my swing can be affected on bad days.
Cheers
Hi,
I read you book over the wekeend. Loved it.
I have tried to get more information from your site at http://www.dreamongolf.com but your link to Aweber isn’t functioning properly.
It collects emails, but doesn’t respond.
Cheers
Sandy
Hi,
I’m 3/4 of the way through the book, though I already know the outcome thanks to Peter Alliss’ comment during the final day of the Open last year.
Finding it truely inspirational as someone that played a lot when I was younger and have recently got back into Golf. Have especially enjoyed the mental stuff and my Wife is overjoyed that I know believe in NLP!!! She’s been telling me about that for years – she never mentioned it could help my Golf!!!
Have put a new practice routine in place and reaping the benefits already. Joined a club at the start of the year and already down to 22, just need to find time to work on the putting now.
Looking forward to the videos and awaiting the delivery of Hogan’s Fundamentals of Golf.
Keep up the good work.
Hi John iv just watched the john Daly tip on putting and chipping with one hand, from time to time iv practiced putting one-handed and i find if when putting normally i have trouble judging the distance of the putts, when i practice putting one-handed i get the feel back in my putting, i have never tried chipping one-handed but i will be rushing to practice area to try it, many thanks John
